50g display and 50g sump

Ok so my tank has Ben up for a week now starting to get a little browning on the crushed coral and dry rock. I currently have a 50 gallon tank with a 10g sump that I will be upgrading tomorrow to a 50 gallon refugum also getting a new stand for the display tank. I would up load pictures but my tablet won't let me. I have a few questions how many chambers should be in my refugum I was thinking 4 (1 for drain 1 for refugum 1 for skimmer and 1 for return. Also how much live rock/dry rock should I get for the tank and refugum I currently have about 10 lb of rock and plan on getting more was looking at about 50-70 lb just for the display tank. The refugum will only be filled half way so maby 30 or 40 lb in it with some alge not sure yet what kind

The browning is a Diatom Bloom, happens to most all tanks, when the silicates are eaten out of the system they will die off.
Usually a good Fuge has 3 chambers, one input, then the fuge section, then the return section
You should at a bare minimum run 1lb of Live Rock per gallon of water, and if going reef, it goes to 2lbs and above.
As for the Fuge, you want to throw more Macro Algae in there to scrub your water for you, or run a ATS in the fuge section.

I'm in then process of getting more rock iv ben getting 5 lb every 2 weeks. And I have some bubble Alfie only about 2 ounces hoping it grows and kills the micro off have the light on 24\7 in thenrefugium ATM to help it grow

All right time for a update just got 2 clown fish and a dragon goby he's quite fun to watch looked like he has started to aquascape the tank lol. I also got a short tentical anemone keeps shriveling up and then returning to normal. Iv read that it is normal so not to worried yet

So I have some bad news my display tank had a seam split and started leaking 2weeks ago. Luckily I was home to stop everything. I have all my live stock except my vallitini puffer in a 29g biocube but getting a 92g corner tank tomorrow with a solid oak stand and a 29g sump.
