50g Lowboy Frag tank rimless?

Hello All!
I was wondering if I could make the 50g lowboy frag tank rimless? would i be able to remove the whole top brace around the tank? will this not work or will i be okay?

It’s designed and constructed to have a rim, and the glass is extremely thin, so I’d recommend against it. If you reinforce with eurobrace, maybe it’s doable.

i was thinking of eurobracing but wasnt sure

I personally wouldn’t risk it, but it’s not THAT expensive of a tank to try it out with. My latest build is with a low boy, check it out maybe you won’t feel the need for rimless when you see how clean it looks as is.
