I purchased a 54 corner tank from Petsmart and and i love the look and got a whale of a deal for it. I have also order my canister filter for it i have no sump for this build the canister filter is a Marineland c-530 4 stage canister filter which is on its way. I still need to purchase power heads and lights sand and rocks for my tank.

Very cool looking tank
*** comes with 4 stages of filtration and it has some assembly required not just he return and intake but the hoses come off in one piece which prevents water from dripping when detached it says we shall test it once i have water
the impeller comes in one section a little hard to put on but i figure once i use some silicon lube it should be okay also order my live sand today as well will be picking up the other 7 bags next weekend that will give me a 4 inch sand bed for my tank and allow for sand sifting stars which i want in my tank as part of cleanup crew

i purchased my light today and picked up the rest of my live sand the light is a Marquis t5-ho dual lamp 1 10,000k and one 420/460 nm bulb in it and has a self timer but it cam with no instructions so i had to look up how to set the time on my won you can also not replace the bulbs with the legs on you have to take it out to remove the protective cover. i will provide a picture of it lighting up the tank.
