Need help just bought a
Led light system but having issues with brown algae. It has different programs and a bunch of options how long do you run lights for a tank with fish, live rock, and ritteri anemone? Just put in chemi pure with phosphate remover.

What light is is.
What did you have before?

Normal uglies I'd bet.

If you look at the current website , the par values are pretty accurate.

I don't know if the new ones have one short ramp or several longer ones.

It is about 2 months old and the light is the current programmable pro
The light is not your problem with brown algae. The tank is really young and going through regular cycle. Just be patient and keep up the husbandry and your parms in check and the brown algae problem will go away. You can scrub it with tooth brush wherever possible to help out.

Now with helping with settings on the light. I don't know much about that light to give you programming advice.

What is the name brand of the light and what model? Also, is this a new aquarium?

I have a similar but not exactly the same light. Mine is a 48" Current Orbit Marine Pro that I bought in March 2016. I agree with the posts above that your issue is more with the age of the tank than the light. My tank was about 6 months old when I put this light on it and there were still some new tank uglies happening then. The tank is much nicer looking now and I think it has more to do with maturity tan anything else. Here's a recent picture:

You can see this tank is all softies, LPS and a few low light SPS. Here's my light schedule, but it may not directly correlate with yours since they're not exactly that same light:

Photo period: 9 hours
Blue Channel intensity: 63%
White Channel Intensity: 60%
Sunrise/set time: 30 minutes
Moonlight intensity: 10% blue, 0% white
Moonlight duration: 3 hours

Overall I've been very happy with my light. The white channel has reds built in that I think make the colors look muddy, but I don't like a real blue looking tank so I'll live with it. I will say that the blue only moonlight time looks awesome. All of the zoanthids really pop during moon time.

I hope this helps,

DeepBrew
