55 Gallon Pharmaceutical Grade Barrels with Removable Lids. Previously held Antihistamines.

my question is will I have any problem with the antihistamines as long as I wash these thoroughly. Thanks

In my opinion it’s very likely the pharmaceutical was in a bag inside the drum, which would negate any concerns. Maybe you could clarify with the seller. I say this as someone who works at a pharmaceutical company that goes through hundreds of those drums a month.

The seller said yes they were in plastic bags

I use two of those that were used for holding pizza sauce. Also in bags. They were clean but still smell like marinara. Delicious.

Well... your fish would never sneeze again.

You can clean them with a nylon brush and either vinegar or bleach.

I wash my filter socks in bleach and after air drying for 6hrs they are good to go back in service.

You can store water in them and use a TDS meter to monitor any leaching... which I highly doubt
