55 gallon hex lighting

I'm looking at getting a 55 gallon hex that I would move everything from my 20 to it. I currently have a 150 watt 15k metal halide on my 20. Will this work on the 55 hex. I don't have the funds to get new lights and although I would love to get LED. That isn't an option. So before I get the tank I hope my current light would work.

I used a lot of MH before I switched everything to leds. And I have a 70g hex anemone tank. Your 150 MH should be just fine. Enjoy the hex tank, not many reefers go for them. I love my anemone tank.

Sweet thanks for the thumbs up on going forward with the tank. I'm going to get the tank and hopefully I'll go led in the future.
