I'm looking for a new light. Currently have t5 lights but one of the banks is out so I'm down one bulb. I want an led light that will handle soft corral....mushrroms. things of that nature. Possible and anemone later on. However I can't break the bank. Any help would be great. There seems to be tons of leds.....but don't want junk

Looking to stay at 250 or below.....even if it's a smaller unit to get started with over the center of the tank till I can afford a second.

I'm just wondering if there is a single unit that would get me started with soft and LPS corals..... Thrn when the time comes.....buy a second unit that woukd make sps possible.

I have a 2 year old reefbreeders photon 48 that I had over my 55. Grows LPS and softies great. I never tried SPS though.
Asking $375 shipped. I know you want to stay below 250 but thought I would mention it.

I was thinking about the Mars aqua because of cost and people seem to have good things to say about them. At least till can afford a better one.

I have had mine for over a year now and they have been great. here is a FTS from August. I will get a better one later.

Hey Pecco 22, have you checked oceanrevive Arctic-T247-B 120W LED Aquarium Light? It is ideal for both fresh and marine aquatic applications, aquatic ecosystems and marine organisms, specialized for SPS/LPS/Soft corals and reef fish. The built-in controller controls TWO channels independently (blue and full spectrum channels) for both Time and Intensity. It also comes with a mounting kit and bracket. More details can be found through OR website:http://www.oceanrevivellc.com/goods.php?id=21. Reviews from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/OceanRevive®...e-Aquarium/dp/B00YOYD3K2/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_i

Hey thanks for the info. I currently have 1 of these and I may be getting a second one because is not enough to light the whole tank.
