55 gallon reef tank build update

Today my finally got my hole saw bits so I can drill my display tank and I also got my filter socks, the socks I ordered were twice the size so i cut them in half and sewn the ends and I’m going to use the other half’s for my nano tank but I drilled the tank and started working on the sump, I was scared to drill the glass at first but then I finally did it, it was so much easier then I thought.

Drilling glass is one of those things that looks hard and is intimidating. But I agree once you do it its super simple and easy to do. Looking good so far!

Yet still stressful every time I do it lol! I've only drilled a few holes and only had one minor issue that was easily resolved with a windshield repair kit. Actually wished I had drilled the returns for my 220 and would have if I had realized what a pain the over the top piping would be!
