55 gallon rock only

Any reason it would not be ok to stack my live rock in a pyramid/mountain style, and have rock up against back wall?
Over keeping it inches off the back to clean that glass.
There is just not enough depth in the 55 gallon aquarium. So having up against the glass there would be more open room in front.
Let me know your thoughts.

One of the other problems with stacking against the glass is there will be no flow behind the rocks.
