55 gallon saltwater setup

Hi. I'm looking for some ideas on setting up my 55 gallon tank to saltwater. It's been a freshwater tank with canister filtration for a while now. My son and I have been experimenting with saltwater in 2 tanks now and like it. We have a 29 gallon biocube and a 40 nuvo fusion. Problem is that 3 tanks are becoming a chore. Would like to combine both smaller tanks in the 55, and sell the others.

My plan is to place an eshopps RS 75 under and drill tank for an eclipse overflow. Any other means of filtration that would be good? Also do I place the overflow in the center it to one side?

i guess depend on the location where u will set it up, since ur drilling it, for me i would make it as a peninsula style, that will maximize the space for your rock scape and viewing, i guess you have to consider ur placement and how you want it to look like

Never thought of a peninsula style. Sounds cool, but mine is against a wall.
