I am looking to set up a 55 gallon saltwater tank. I would like clownfish and possibly tangs, but I know that is a controversial stocking idea since they could get too big. Also wondering about triggers for this tank. Any ideas?

Most tangs will need more space than a 55 gallon tank has. They are fairly narrow tanks. If you can go bigger I would do it but if you have a 55 gallon, there a lot of fish you can put in there that will be happy, clowns, basslets, gobies, snails, shrimp, damsels, firefish.
