wow very cool! what kind of resin are you using to seal it?? we are buying a house soon and really want a big tank and at the cost of doign this over buying a big tank this seems a lot better!! are you using a pond liner or just a sealer??

I coated the inside with 2 part epoxy resin the over that i used sweetwater epoxy paint.
I think i have about $950 and lots of time in just the tank

yea but that $950 is just a fraction of what a glass or acylic tank that size would cost!! beautiful!! what kind of glass do you use for the viewing side?

Sweet tank! What kind of epoxy did you use? I am thinking of a huge look-down frag tank made from plywood. Would cost me about $200, since it will be shallow enought o use ony 2 sheets, and some 2x4" reinforcement. What it comes down to is the epoxy.

Being justva frag tank i would just do the sweet water epoxy paint a gallon is about $130 after shipping. The resin i used under the epoxy was rka i think

Also, I would be using LEDs, so I would not need the UV protection as much. I will start a new thread so as not to hijack yours further :)
