Sooooo, I decided to start this on my new tank/upgrade. Going for a mainly sps tank this time round, hopefully picking up some of my old favorites that i used to have. Still trying to figure out uf I should go sumpless, being that I'm hardly ever home I dont want to show up to a flood on my wood floors. anyway, ill post pictures when I get home tonight.

I love being sumpless, but it is a slightly bigger challenge for the uninitiated... :D

Picture! This is it for now...powerheads and filter will change once I figure out if i wanna go sumpless or not. I might go with an aquafuge with hang on skimmer...who knows at this point. It's being lit by a 250w mh on a lumenman elite reflector so I'm thinking sps should be ok, what do you guys think? Not sure if I'm gonna leave the rocks how they are either, I'm liking it so far.

Going sumpless!! Will see how that pans out...now to decide on a hob skimmer, between a reef octopus bh-1000 or aquamaxx hob-1...and then probably a large aquafuge as well...

Like the rockwork. Looking forward to seeing some corals. Are you planning to keep the back wall clear?

Thanks, and no it'll either be blue or black. Think itll be the aquamaxx skimmer...hopefully a good choice.

I had a marineland 47g column seahorse tank, I used a freedom filter perfect filter for that size tank (filter is rated for a 90g)
