It will bring nitrates n phos levels down .I don't think it will pale Sps but
seems to deepen their colors .I was doing vodka n marukan rice vinegar but my colors got dark real quick .I am guessing it was the sugar source in the vinegar .
I just started on the I herb n will just dose low amounts 5 ppm n 0.5 on the vodka to see what happens .My colors are a lil too rich and haven't hit that balance I like to see..I can't really comment too much since I haven't dosed vit c in a long time .
The advise it to run it for a few months then stop to almost nothing then hit it again.
It only stays active in the tank for 8 hours so u have to dose it twice a day . Use only buffered n no pills .

Broke down my small qt tank .Gonna bubble wrap in put it in the box.
I boxed up my chiller n screwed my desktop video card .I was pulling the tubing n not paying attention .

Not much to update . A lot of packing n I can't seem to be able to get out of a LFS without goodies in hand .
Was getting tank quotes and started looking at Acan Frags. I am starting to see the limitations of a phone camera.
The LFS owner said he was losing out the okole since it was a ultra frag but due to his lights u couldn't see it's true colors.
I was like "what orange " Nah..
He was right
I wish the pic was better ..

Another failed attempt . U can see the crazy color on one of the polyps on the right side when it was cut .

Lower right is the insanity favia .
Above it is a Golden Rim Dragon Soul Favia
N some shut down WOW palys aka Wobblegongs.

This seems to be the blue variety no yellow green like my other one . This is a legit one no doubt . Look at the plug

This is another SSC that morphed on me into the blueberry variety .My infamous rainbow mound. I took a frag from it . It is in the front . Some really slow growing milli that came from Boggs .
I know ,I know dirty frag plug . I will clean them all before the move .

Have you seen a picture of the favia that I posted as a "malibu favia?" Based on the colors here, mine looks closer to your "Cornbread Insanity," although I've never seen a full colony to really compare. If you get a chance, swing over to my thread and give me your thoughts on that favia I posted. Regardless, I'm loving that your "Cornbread Insanity!" Favias are becoming come of my favorite corals.

I like favia's too . Just some of them can be pretty aggressive .
