Hello, I have a 58g 3 foot looking for a pair? of powerheads. Currently have an ac tunze ball, but would like controllability. My 4ft 120 has the tunze 6095 run by my apex,. My 58 also has an apex. Tank is mainly soft and lps, possibly sticks down the road, but I like wiggley stuff.
Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much for your time

The reef October pulse 2 looks interesting too.... not sure a gyre will work in my setup. Oceanic center overflow. 36x18x18 I think

I have both and I would go with the Tunze 6055 and maybe try the cover off the 6095 and see if you like that. I was able to buy two BNIB 6095 covers so I put them on my 6055, this is on a 120 gallon tank. I run the 6040 on my IM Lagoon 25.

I run a 6040 behind my rocks and it pushes the water clear to the other side of a 40br 36” with no problems. I think a pair insync opposite of each other would be find for a softie tank but you will need more imo for LPS and SPS.
