5k bulb vs 6k bulb

Hey guys will a 5k bulb and a refugium cause more cyno bacteria then a 6k or 6500k bulb? And can there be a red led bulb that is compatability to the kessil red refug light? Will the red light not grow cyno bacteria? Lol obviously I have alot of cyno in my fuge lol

Do you have an OFF period? How big of an area? Cyano will pop up if it's lit too much. Get some flow in there too if you can. Honestly, any of those bulbs/lighting will work OK. Anything less than the 6500k is more prone to cyano I'd say but people use the ugliest light for algae scrubbers just fine.
