I dove the Wreck of the Donal G. McAllister and Hammerhead Reef on Sunday. Here are some pics.

Thanks Rob. I was wondering what coral that was. It was very beautiful. When are you going to jump in the water with us?

There is actually a beach dive in Sobe that I want to do. They sunk a Jose Cuervo bar and supposedly there are other artificial reefs very close to it.

Anyone know what the huge worm is? Looked like a big ol sea cucumber.

That wreck sat in about 70 feet of water. The drift dive we tried to stay at 50' to maximize our time.

Camera setup = Canon SD750 + Canon Housing. I can honestly say for the value, its a great combo. Best of all its a nice small package. I may try to get strobe if I can find one for the right price. I noticed it was hard getting colors out of the stock flash this deep. All the other divers kicking up the sand didnt help much either.

That carribean chalice is simply awesome! Also love the tube things. Overall it's a great set of pics, well worth the dive trip if you ask me.

Nice and great photos. The chalice is amazing! Not to bring in negative thoughts.... But, I sure hope that those reefs survive the oil disaster. It would be a shame!!

Where is the wreck / reef located?

I believe that the look on the moray eels face says "Leave me Alone!" :wink:

Does that model of Canon Camera shoot in RAW format? If it does, you will get better colors.
