I have a 30 breeder frag tank which is only 36" long, 18" wide, and 12" tall. I have had Ai Sol blues since I started the tank and cannot get the colors that I have wanted. After talking to some people about how they obtain their colors, I decided to switch to t5. A buddy of mine gave me a 6 bulb 39w t5 fixture and a 36" reefbrite tech blue. Will this fixture be to much to grow and color up sps over a 12" tank? If not how high should I hang the lights to make sure that I do not burn the sps? I am going to be running 4 ATI blue+, 1 coral plus, and 1 true actinic.
