6 footer or 8?

I'm in the camp of bigger is better. I am guessing when you say with the 8ft you'd have to piece everything together, compared to the 6ft, must be a system like the red sea. I understand many people like the convenience of buying systems where just about everything comes with it, but I'd rather pick out every single piece. Even aside from all of that, I think the fish you mentioned are better suited for 8ft

I went with 82x32x24. I wish I could have carried 96x32x24 downstairs...drool.

But I went from 24 to 32 wide and that makes me super happy.

That said, definitely 8ft or longer.

I went 8’ acrylic and I know I wouldn’t be happy with 6..... I also don’t have a FOWLR, nor do I have 300 gallons!

My other 8’ tank is a 250g I think, it’s glass and I will break it up with a hammer before I ever try to move it again.

The bracing isn’t noticeable and you’ll probably want a top for jumpers anyways I’d think.
