No. Really really good coverage. IMO.

You could probably cut it to five and pick up a par meter If you don’t have one.

Thanks for the reply.................one problem I have. There's a duct that overhangs one end of the tank by 10"............leaving about 7" of clearance between the duct and the top of the tank. Tank is in the wall. Poor planning on my part.

Check the specs and look at the wide lenses.

If it’s low clearance you do probaly want a more units or multi emitter ones like Orphek.

You could get all crazy and stud the whole tank with kessil 360’s. Pretty compact light.

Depends on if you are referring to the xr15 or xr30 and what your plans are for corals and coral placement.

XR30's for a SPS tank.
If it were my tank, I'd probably start with 4 units, but I'd add in some retrofit 60" T5 bulbs (2 bulbs in front and 2 bulbs in back). You might still want to add in a 5th unit depending on what you want to keep on the bottom part of the tank. If you're opposed to using T5s, I think you still would be fine with 5 units. Evaluate your tank as the corals grow out and add in an extra unit later if you want more coverage.
