~6" Holacanthus passer (Passer Angel)

I have decided to go a different route with my tank and am looking to find a suitable home for my beautiful Holacanthus passer. This is a $550 fish on L.A. (not even divers den, which my fish is just as healthy or healthier then an LADD fish) because of its size.... for $250 you will get a well established (I have owned it for over 2 years myself, and it was in captivity before that) gorgeous healthy Passer Angel! Not only are they not entirely common, they don't commonly fare well initially but are quite hardy once established. I would not recommend him for a reef, however he is in one (SPS dominated) now and it would be your risk. FOWLR would be best.


To qualitfy to purchase this tank you must:
1. Have an established 6' 180g tank or larger!
2. Have it documented (build thread) that this isn't some new tank you just tossed together.
3. Be willing to pick up.
4. Have cash.
5. Be serious.


If you do not meet this criteria please do us both a favor and understand your tank is not suitable for this fish.

Thanks this has been my favorite fish for quite some time, excellent coloration and fun to watch as it is a graceful, yet powerful swimmer who utilizes my entire 180g tank! He is pretty docile towards other fish as well, but certainly knows he is the boss and has established that in my tank so he is "respected" so to speak.

i would love to get him down to florida for my breeding program. been thinking about incorporating some form of angel into it.

If I knew of anyone that could properly package and ship a fish this size and you were willing to pay the shipping I would consider shipping it, but I have no experience even shipping a simple zoa frag let alone a large fish that would require alot of care!

I do still have this beauty available and dropping the price to $200 in hopes of finding a suitable home soon!
