6 legged brittle star?

we just saw this guy in our frag tank, is he safe to have in our mixed reef? Please help ID thank you!

Brittle Star don't care how many legs he has. He's a nasty little brittle star...

wait, sorry, I was just talking about honey badgers.

Brittle stars are known to either have 5/6 legs. Safe for your reef.

I have lots of those guys in my tank. Hard to tell how many arms they have since they are usually in the crevices and I only see a few arms waving about at a time. I think they are very cool.

Ok Phew!! I was wondering why mine had 6 legs unlike the orphiuridae I was finding online! Def gonna keep min was well. Found him tonight hanging out in my chaeto.

I just found one while cleaning some algae off a rock. I almost flushed it thinking it was algae until I saw it moving around and got a better look. Thank you guys so much. I loved watching it move around but wasn't sure if I should put it back in my frag tank. Hope the little thing does well in there and I spot it again.

I'm no expert but I love little brittle stars, never had a problem with them. I usually only see them if I pick up a rock or when feeding and they stick their arms out of the rocks.
