I've got a bunch of fish in my QT and they all look fine except today the six line wrasse started looking like this and he seems to be breathing fast. I haven't started treating the tank for anything yet and they have only been in there for 2 days.
Any thought on what a I'm testing and suggestions on what to treat with first? My first guess is Brookynella and tossing metro into the tank. Thanks

Edit:looking at it some more, could that be injury and scales? His other side appears to have a bit of a gash near his eye. He was trying to wedge himself between the glass and that internal filter last night, could he have just hurt himself? Should I do something to help treat?

That does look like it could be brook, though it could also be a bacterial infection from an injury.

I think metro was a great first step. I'd also start kanaplex and furan-2. The trifecta should take care of an infection and, as you seem to be aware of, the metro should take care of brook

What other fish do you have in QT?

Sixlines can be very very aggressive in nature. I'm leaning towards an injury at this point.

+1 on the injury/infection. The darn wrasses sprint themselves into rocks, glass, equipment causing all sorts of injury.
