In a 40 breeder what fish would you add that currently has a 6 line wrasse?
The only other fish is a Falco Hawk fish.

Asking for a friend.

You can be pretty sure that it will kill every peaceful wrasse...

my 6 line will go after every new fish that is not tang sized. It harassed my angels (potters, blue line, and Singapore) so much that I had to remove it and keep in an acclimation box. After about 10 days I released it back and it was fine. You could try the same.

Definitely no wrasses, and probably no dottybacks.

If the wrasse is still immature, there's probably some options.

Algae eating blenny or clowns would be an option.

Get rid of it, it will severely limit your options. If not, then you will need something with some attitude to deal with it. It's a bit of a risk with corals (although the pygmys do tend to be better than a regular dwarf in that department), but a Cherubfish (aka Pygmy Angel) or Flameback might be the thing:

I was asking for a friend who loves her little 6 line.
I had one about 25 years ago and that little devil killed just about everything I put in the tank with it except tangs and angels.

Try a demsel I’ve had a demsel and a 6 line together no problem

Fang blenny might have a chance.

Well my friend decided to pick up a couple new corals instead of another fish.

Sounds familiar. I went down to my LFS on Black Friday looking for a Lawnmower Blenny, couldn't find one so I came home with some cheap coral frags instead. :D
