Hey R2R,
so I just upgraded to the red sea reefer 750XXL 6'x26x24 tank.
tank will be mostly be LPS with a few softies and SPS here and there.

need help with in tank flow.
after buying the tank yesterday price is unfortunately at the for front of my choice....boo I know
so MP60 are out.

that said I know flow is impotent but this is NOT gonna be an SPS dom. tank

right now I am thinking:
1x gyre 250 and one OP16 and the other end.
2x coral box QP16 cheapest option. I can get both ph for the price one 1 gyre 250
2x maxspect gyre 250 = more dept..boo

would love to hear feedback form reefer with a 6' tank.

PS glass is 3/4"

I do a 6’ tank that just has 1 Maxspect 250. Mainly soft/LPS. The return and gyre are on one end of the tank, flowing toward the other end.

More than enough flow. Somewhat gentle at the opposite end, but what gyres do well is get most of the water column moving. So the opposite end doesn’t have the velocity, but there is overall a good amount of water flowing.

The good news is that you can always add another pump or gyre in the future. It’s not like you’re stuck with one forever.

beautiful tank @Gregg @ ADP LOVE the blue back ground I am debating blue for my new tank too.

just ordered the maxscept XF250 its a door buster BF sale @ 20% off today only I believe
I have a PP8 for the other end just to keep thinks moving and at some point I might get another xf250.
