6 new orpheks

Finally fired up my new orphek lights. I have two 60” blue plus, two 60” sky blue (2021 new release), and two Atlantic v4. All lights are 100% power out of the box and not scaled back yet. Currently waiting on Geo’s reef for the sump and ato. After that, it’s plumbing and cycling. Let me know what you think!

Kinda like what I did on my 90. Just using the smaller orpheks and gonna add two kessil 360s. Looks great. They will grow corals and burn them just as easy.

I’ll lower the power drastically for the first few months. I plan to range par with the brs rental. I don’t want any guessing on par values.

I don't think so. The sides get rid of any shadowing in the front and back. More of a blanket of light now

This is exactly the reasoning behind doing this. It was no more than wanting as little shadowing as possible. I love how tanks look when shadows are not visible.

This is exactly the reasoning behind doing this. It was no more than wanting as little shadowing as possible. I love how tanks look when shadows are not visible.

Makes sense. I like some shadowing for depth perception but that's it.
