I got worried that my couple of Firefish gobies r never out (even thought that I lost them)..
But then they will come out during the feeding time and 6 striped wrasse start running after them and picking on poor things until they r in hiding again..
Wrasse was added waaay after firefish if it makes any difference for this couple..
Any advice on how I can manage this aggression and why is it there on a first place [emoji2372]

6 line wrasses are very mean fishes and often kill fish added before and after them especially very docile and peaceful fish like your firefish, assuming you are referring to the 6 line wrasse or any wrasse from the genus pseudocheilinus. There is no real way to get rid of the agression but to remove the agressor sorry

Yup the 6 line wrasse is often mislabeled as a wrasse but based on it's personality the letters "WRE" need to be removed from it's name.

Nicely said! [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Good luck catching him if thats what you decide to do, a fish trap or fishing methods lol are good ideas if you search around the forum forhow to do them, or if you're able to remove your rocks easily you could try and catch him with a net

Doesn't help that firefish are so timid too.

Agreed my Purple Firefish was my most timid/skittish fish by far that I have owned.

As mentioned, the 6 line will bean issue with your firefish as well as most other future additions. They aredoqnright nasty fish.

Also, two firefish wont usually work out. One will intimidate the other until it just disappears forever.

Two Firefish won’t work out? They were together for quite a while and they r staying in the same place in the tank. Never saw them bullied each other in any sort of way. Surprised to hear it really..

Wrasse.... will have to catch him somehow... at chance tho, hahahahah

Firefish don't tolerate conspecifics unless they are a bonded pr, so if you get 2 you have a 50/50 shot of them pairing up.
