Anyone hear use a 60" ati sunpower over a standard 125? If so I would like to know bulb combo and how high above the water you keep it. Is it me or are these some powerful lights. Thanks.

They're pretty powerful. I have a 6 bulb 24" over my JBJ28. They're 2" above the water level.
How many bulbs does the 60" have on it?

I have an 8x80w over my 180g 72x24x24, all ati bulbs. B+, B+, C+, B+, AB, B+, AB, B+. I keep it 8" above the water and I'm pulling 200-300 par on the bottom of my tank. Yes they are pretty powerful

I would say 14" under the light, getting around 600-700 par. Most sps I keep in the 200-500 range, mille's in the 200, smooth acros in the 400-500 range. The ati light is great for sps, I should have never gone with led for so long.

Both my 6 bulb fixtures are pretty similar
On the 56 gallon 6" off the water:
B+, P+, C+, B+, P+, B+
On the JBJ28 2.5" off the water:
B+, P+, C+, B+, C+, P+

I have 6 x 80 over my standard 125.

Sits about 8" above tank

Thanks reefndude. That's what I have also. If I could ask at what height did you start it at and how long did it take you to get it to its current height?

I started off at that height and started sps on bottom. Slowly raised corals to their current spots
