What's up Dirt! long time no see. Glad you're still in the hobby. Selection out here is about the same on quality as it comes from the wholesalers in LA also but it is definately pricier and not as abundant.

Well keep up on the San Diego Boards Im sure boardies are willing to ship and you will find better prices. But glad to see your tank and running and yup I'm still at it

Got a bunch of amazing livestock in yesterday from Will @ AquaSD, everything is opening up nicely today. Here's the latest FTS. At this point i believe i am done with adding livestock, but that's today, i'm sure i'll find space for something else down the road. Enjoy the update ;)

Totally happy with my placement of everything, best part about the Radion is everything pop no matter where it's located.

Yeah it's basically a 2.5 gallons Carboy container i bought off Amazon for $25. Drilled it and installed the parts listed above. Then there's a 1/4" tube connecting that to a Kent float valve on the right side of the sump. As water evaporates in the sump, the valve let's top off rodi water in until water reaches the the mark i set. There's 5 settings, adround 1" of adjustments. Then the valve close it itself once it hits the level. That's it. Lasts me 3 days. Hope that helps.

Thanks, I was thinking about building one of these myself. I have a 60 cube too.

Found some pics of my old tanks, here's my first one, a JBJ 24g. I learned the most out of this tank on parameters.

Graduated to a 34 gallon Solana. Looking back i learned the most about parameters, aquascaping, and coral placement with this one.

My next tank was another 34 gallon solana. This one used a sump and the lines ran into the guy's garage when i bought it. I modified it modified a heavy duty plastic container as a sump and it worked out just fine. Due to my hectic schedule and the lack of availability at that time this tank was not stocked to the levels of my previous tanks.

Next one was my first 60 and was the most stable of all the tanks up to this point. The increased water volume really helped and i was finally able to stock it just the way i liked it.

And then here's the current setup as it is today. Crazy seeing the transition from the first day i setup the tank years ago.
