Hey guys i have a 60 gallon cube and want to have a mix reef. It will be mostly lps and softies but i want to have a few acros and montis. So what light would yall recommend? I was going to do the kessil qith aquatic life t5 fixture with bluefish controller but i am second guessing on what would be best for what i want. So if yall have any advice it be appreciated. I just want a light the will grow my corals well and in a decent amount of time.

Im welling to spend up to 1000 but i rather not have to if i dont need to

Oh ok! Ya i have been going back and forth on using leds, hybrid or t5s

I use a xr30 combined with 2 Hamilton t5 retro kits.
At first I only had the xr30 and was aiming at sps but then I started getting shading so I added the t5. I can't complain with this combo. I use ati blue plus and purple power

Ya i was think about the t5 led hybrids just because of the shadowing given off by leds but still want the more natural shimmer affect that the leds give off. And of course with the t5s the give you coverage and spread every where.

I have great growth. I feed reef chili and frozen food mix. I believe feeding is just as important as the light for growth. But I never had my lights over 60%. They do great.

Awesome! Ya i feed coral delight and reef roids.

You seem like you're still leaning towards the hybrid. I think the 24" fixture with a Kessil a360 would come in under your budget and would give you the exact lighting you're trying to achieve.

Ya more than likely. Only real reason i want the kessil is the shimmer and the blue fish controller.

xr30 pro is $800 and 2 hamilton retro t5 kits $260. Never doubting your choice in lighting = priceless :D
