This is my 60 gallon cube. It just finished cycling. Right now all I have in there is 70 pounds of Haitian rock, 40 pounds of Fiji pink sand. For equipment I have just a basic sump, Jecod DC pump DCT-200 and a marineland 200w heater, for lighting I have a kessil a160we but I want to upgrade to the 360 or an AI hydra 26. I just put a tobacco bass and a nice size Okinawan clown goby as starter fish. If anyone can help me with ideas on protein skimmers, powerheads or upgrading the lights that would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to do a mixed reef tank with a lot of zoas, softies, LPS and maybe a few SPS. This is what the tank looks like now minus the fish which are acclimating at the moment.

The ecotech vortechs do really well in those tanks. One on each side of the overflow facing out. A single kessil A360 would be perfect for that tank as it has a coverage of 24x24x36
Keep lower light corals near the bottom and sps at the top. The skimmer will depend greatly on how much room you have in the sump. Any pictures or dimensions of the sump?

The sump came with the tank and stand. Its a Megaflow model 1 and has a footprint of 20 x 10 x 17.25"H. I am also going to add an ATO and dosing pumps but that's in the future. Right now I just want the things I need for a nice successful reef tank. Also I am really torn between the Hydra 26 and the A360. I have used Kessil on my other 2 tanks and think the shimmer is second to none but AI products seem to have better coral growth from what I have seen. Any reason why?
