60 gallon rimless reef build

I downgraded from my 90 gallon reef tank that I was running back in November.

this tank was mostly ran by 6 48inch t5 bulbs. But I always wanted a shallow tank. One day one shallow rimless Tank came across my life and I had to buy it so I did and the build begun!

After having sit for almost 3 weeks I bought light diffuser to use for rock support

About a week later I became the owner of two new hydra 52s

January 19 was the day I made the switch. Some would say a downgrade but to me it was really an awesome upgrade even if the tank was smaller. 90? Goodbye started draining but saved most of the water for the shallow

For this shallow rimless I decided to go with black sand

Than the lighting part came to take its place. I loved I got the growth from t5s I got in the 90 but also loved leds when I ran my 40 breeder so I decided why not? Lol yes I made it happen [emoji16]

I integrated t5s with my new hydras

For the sump I went with a DIY version as I was already pretty broke lol I decided to add mangroves to the sump along with macro

After installing the sump it was almost complete just had to install the top canopy

It was a little too high so I had to make some adjustments

About two weeks later I changed the scape as I thought it was a little too crammed and made it look like this

Finally added fish back to the DT after a major brooks breakout in my tank due to a powder blue tang back in January longest 6 weeks of my life
