Hey Folks, This just pooped up on my news feed and I thought that those not using a controller might benefit. I work in heavy industrial and Automation and I cringe when I see the hobby related prices for less than durable equipment.

How is this even remotely useful for reefing hobbyists? Our lights are not wired directly to wall switches, nor are they as simple as "on/off"


You can buy a "smart wifi outlet" that has MUCH better than "7 day control" for $10-12 on amazon. And you can actually plug your fixture into it, which is useful

Yes you can buy cheap Chinese stuff for a penny. AS i stated Intermatic is an Industrial Rated, ISO and QS approved supplier. BTW no one will Tar and Feather you if you mount this in your cabinet and not in the wall.
