We are in the process of having a house built, and I will have an area 64x24 for a tank. I would prefer not to build a custom tank due to the cost involved, but can't seem to locate a tank 60x24. I find 60" light fixtures, but can't source a 60" tank.

I'd prefer euro-braced, but black trim would be alright as well.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a 60" tank?

I have never seen a 60" tank before. Also searching for standard tank sizes, nothing shows up as 60". Could the 60" light fixtures be intended for 72" tanks? Seems a bit short to me, but it is the only logical conclusion I can think of. I would call Marineland to see if they have any and go from there.

Custom tanks are more expensive, but after shopping around, you may find a huge price difference amongst the different manufacturers. I wanted a three hole overflow when I bought my 220 gallon, and after pricing it out the custom build was only about 30% more expensive. Definitely worth it for the ability to customize it completely.

A very rare tank size without going custom. I know Oceanic made a 150. 60"X 24" X 24", been looking for one myself.

yep a standard 150 is 60"x 24" x 24" like already mentioned. I had an SCA aquarium and other than the plumbing it was a great tank. If you call them around black friday coming up they will give you a better deal. You can also look into glass cages (never heard of a tank failing just that they get sloppy with the silicone so go black instead of clear) and custom aquariums. They both have 150G that are 60" long.
