I've been playing around with the idea of upgrading to a 60" when I move. Does anybody have a 60" tank? If so, input and pictures would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Ryan

I'm going to be setting up the marineland 250 60x36x27 as soon as I can afford everything. I'll start acquiring parts as they pop up for sale. can't wait!

I have a 60x18x22 love it but wish it was deeper front to back tho. bout to get a bigger tank but going to do 54" so i can run 48" T5s its hard to find a fixture for a 60" tank

I have been trying to post pictures of my 60" reef but their software evidently is not sophisticated enough to resize the pictures automatically. They need to work on that, I can do it everywheree else by just linking to my pics on Photobucket with no problems.
The 60" is a nice size, mine is called 100G by LeeMar but actually comes out to closer to 110 when you calculate it. I had them do a custom offset center overflow, drill 5 holes in the locations I specified, provide the bulkheads, and do the tank in Diamond Edge glass. The cost was amazingly low and shipping was very reasonable from So. Calif to Phoenix. Most shops in the southwest carry or can get LeeMar tanks, I would highly recommend them.
I will keep trying to post some pics of my system.

I just ordered a 150G (60"x24"x24") from Leemar. It should be hear within the next week or so. Macawmagic price is about right. Mine will be Eurobraced, 3 sided starfire, black silicone, black back, diamond polished, and left corner overflow. I will be running a canopy so for lighting, I'm thinkng 2 lumen max elites and a couple of VHO.

We have a 120 gallon 60" tank we special ordered from Petland several years ago. I don't recall the price on it.

Here's a pic:

I personally have a 185 deep sea (60x30xuhh...something) and love it, in the store we have one of the marineland 60x36x27 and it is almost too much front to back

185 is broken down now though.... hopefully i'll have it to a new home soon so someone else can enjoy it

I have a DSA 185... It's a perfect fit for my wall. The only frustrating thing I ran into was finding a 60" light fixture that I could hang above it.

I am currently looking to purchase a DSA 185 Neo as an upgrade from my 90gal. I really love the foot print of the tank due to the depth of the base. It will allow for a great aquascape. If anyone has any photos of their DSA 185, can you please post some pic's or email them to me? I would love to see your aquascapes!

I have contacted several tank builders and most can build a 60" tank. It really depends on whether you want it braced, euro braced or rimless. Some can do it, some can't. Be prepared to to spend between $1500 - $4000 for it, depending on measurements and options.

Absolutely sweet! Who made your tank, if you don't mind me asking?

It always seems to be that way, a day late and a dollar short. :(
