60" xho reefbrites apex help

I have two 60" xho over my 180.I would like to connect them both to my apex and be able to dim them down. Anyone here have a similar set up that can guide me on it. Also links of needed accessories. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was actually getting ready to do a write up on connectin dimmable LEDs to an apex. I'll post the link for you when I'm done. But like Velcro said, you need to make sure they are dimmable first.

I read on a thread here a while ago that you can purchase the a cable and buy the reefbrites dimmable control.

You need the Reef Brite dimmer controller, I have them and they work great but there is a significant added cost to make them dimmable LED's

So get one of this unit and two reef brite dimmer controller?

Just the unit it plugs into an apex variable output port and you can dim the strips with the Apex

Perfect... I'll get the dual one since I'm connecting two 60" reefbrites correct? Then I can just set it up on my apex.

I think you can connect two strips to one controller as long as you want to dim them the same, check with Reef Brite they are very responsive.

I have already contacted reef brite and they adviced me to use the dual one. Will wait for Black Friday to see if I can get at least 10/20% off..... thanks for guiding me. Will let ya know how it works
