bought brand new mp40 maxspect gyre 150 for my new 120g build both broke. Turned on mp40 ran for about 10min and light started flashing green/red. Maxspect gyre only one side of it rotates. What a great day.

Green and red is a stall code on the mp40. Try unplugging it and then back in again. It should go away. And check to make sure the spacer is set properly and it is aligned.

Wet side is seized up I don't know why took it apart and back together and propeller will barely spin

Hopefully maxspect treats you right. Mine broke, after email and a picture - all correspondence the same night after hours - they shipped me a new motor housing that same day I had the problem. Got tracking number the next morning and 2 days later had a fix.

Is there something stuck on the inside of the mp? Once you take it apart, where the magnet spins.

Nope its brand new, it just won't spin took the ceramic bearing out and everything it's like there is something but I wiped everything off and no luck.

Email ecotech. They will send you a new wetside and you'll just have to send the broken one back.

After my work hours of 9-5 I should clarify. I just did the normal email ticket stuff. We exchanged a few emails around 7pm and I think around 8 they said would be out the next day.

Just like to say I'm impressed with both companies customer service ecotech especially for reaching out to help in the forums on a Saturday. Maxspect got back with first thing this morning.

It is very frustrating sorry to hear about the pumps I have 2 mp40 and both of them had to be messed with daily they would come out of balance and vibrates terribly. . I was ready to rip them out and send the back ..eceotech
( Tim in the guy I talked) too very helpfull sent me 2 new dry side moters it seemed too help sofar but it only been 1 hr sofar
