@rvitko Last I ran it about a year ago, it was sticking and stopped completely (the propeller) when I was switching on/off but seemed to stay on when ramping. Then when it was ramping and the power went out it would stick "off" again. It has been sitting for sometime with dried detritus all over. I will soak in vinegar and clean to see if the impeller or cage was dirty. What's the policy on something like this if it needed servicing? Would the warranty cover it or could I pay you to fix it if the cleaning does not work?

disassemble 1st then Try cleaning in vinegar 60/40 V to wat. 4 hours . then Rinse well. Baking soda neutralizes acid. Will only work under water. If still not working , a new impeller might be the fix.

It has a 2 year warranty, if you send it in we will repair it, if it is out of warranty the only cost is parts needed. I would do the disassembly and vinegar soak, it is important to first remove the drive unit before soaking as the small spaces inside the pump are what really need to be cleaned.

Also with this pump I'm trying to find which Tunze power adapter goes to what. I think the one that goes to this 6040 pump is Tunze model: 04151A-110160 with DC output 11v 1600 mA. Does this sound like the one?
