Good Morning all,

Looking for some help with lighting setup. I have a 60 gallon mixed reef mainly LPS and softies. Trying to move a bit more to SPS and attempt to grow some acros. I recently upgraded lighting to a single A360x on a Kessil controller mounted in a Aquatic Life 4 bulb 5T hybrid (B+, C+, B+, A) 6" off water surface. I've had some mixed result so I am questioning my light schedule. For a couple months I ran a lot more whites, but was losing color, so I backed down the whites running more blues on the Kessil. My schedule is: I figured the T5 would just do their thing and with Kessil, Kessil logic, again it would grow fine. Do you just see anything I should change to move from a LPS mixed to be able to grow some acros?

Thanks everyone

With Kessils you don't have to worry about your light spectrum as you mention. Are you acclimatizing the SPS? Also I might consider a higher intensity for a shorter duration, but again you would want to acclimatize.

You think modify to the current schedule from 12:00 to 16:00 at 60 intensity on the Kessil. Yes I have been acclimating the corals..sand bed up to mounting hight

For the record I am def NOT the expert on acro growth. That said if you feel that it is the lighting schedule, then yes, I would try that. I bet there is a kessil schedule thread around here somewhere too, I would look at that as well.
