Thank you for sharing and I love the tank! What are the dimensions of the cube?

Great lookin' cube!! Thanks for sharing!! :)

It's a 24"X24"x25" Cube, I have actually torn down the tank but re-building it right now, but this was picture taken about a month ago and now I regret taking it down but health reason is why I did but now everything is ok.

Here is the Tank getting back into the swing of things

Here is my tank before I was getting out but decided to stay in since I was getting way to many Low Balls for my Tank Stand and Sump and the tank wasn't even a year old.

Nice tank and clam! Glad you decided to stick with it.

I was trying to gear away from the cave look but I'm not good at creating a good aqauscape so it is what it is. I have a pair of Onyx Clowns in the system now from a local breeder... :)

Glad to hear you're doing better and decided to stick with it. Good luck

I like the current rockscape and nice looking clam. Happy that you decided to get back into keeping the tank and look foward to seeing how it progresses.

Thanks- I am going to be purchasing a New MP40 instead of having 2 MP10's on my system. I decided to stick with the colored Sticks (SPS) but it will be still a Mixed reef. :)

Update: 60G Cube Re-Build 8/15/2012

Well alot has changed since I broke down my tank and re-set it back up. As of now my Tank was emptied again, well not completely. The rock that I started over with came with a Phosphate problem. My Rocks started going south with Bryopsis Algae and raising my Magnesium level was not cutting it. I even tried Tuxedo Urchins, Larger than normal Turbo Snails and a Couple Seahares. Nothing was mowing thru this stuff so. If I am going to re-build I decided to just do it right.

I ended up taking pretty much every piece of rock out that had Bryopsis Algae on it. I am going to add more Dry Sand to my existing sand bed to get a more deeper sandbed to control my Nitrates Sugar Size sand IMO is the way to go. I am also going to add more LR this time and make a higher rock scape for better hidding for my Fishies, and more area to add frags.

I have upgraded my Lighting system from ATI Sunpowered T-5 to a Apollo Reef LED Solar Blast Artic-Red fixture. I am really liking this new LED stuff and the colors are just the way I like them.

Here are my Rocks toasting in some Bleach then Muatic Acid

Here is the Big Mess I was dealing with

It was offically Banned from my Tank

Here are some of the pieces after it was completed some serve pieces have enough Algae to live a lifetime but was cleaned up really well. I had to scrub some pieces to get the rest off

Looked a little yellow at first but was still playing with the color intensity

This was about 30% white and 70% blue

And I increased it to about 80% blue and 40% white

As you can see this is how my tank looks at it's current stated I am going to have the Mixed reef I always dreamed of and will continue updating this thread from time to time. Enjoy for now..

Thanks :)
