60g sps tank skimmer

Hey guys! I'm coming back t the hobby after having out for a few years. Looking for a skimmer for my 60g cube with 30g sump. I want to have sps so low nutrients. Looking at the coral box D300 or D500. Wondering if the D500 would work on this setup? Yes it's big but i'm pretty sure i won't be happy with a 60 g after a while lol What would you recommend?

Size your skimmer appropriately. Too big is just as bad as not big enough. If you're already considering an upgrade, and you haven't even started with the current tank, save yourself the headache and just get the bigger tank now.
