Thank you so much JDA. I have seen 3 tanks in person that really were awesome and I want to emulate. I Absolutely love one with all t5, one with Red Sea 90’s and one with hydra 52’s.

I like the idea of adding Led bars to t5 fixture.

How do I get a sunrise to sunset with bars that are not dimmable? Are the led bars just not on until a certain wattage is reached?

I did not see apps or programs as a requirement - if it important, then I would rank it above. Even so, sunrise and sunset is for you, not the inhabitants. Sunrise and sunset does not color acros better. If you must have it, then just turn the on a few hours before the T5 and leave them on a few hours after. It does the same thing where you can look at the stuff under blues only. Most of the best tanks are T5 or MH and they just run on/off with a light timer for 8-12 hours a day.

That’s true, I didn’t rate sunrise and sunset because I thought this was for corals.

Apps I skipped over, but I chose hydra and Red Sea due to colors in person and I guess apps as well. Although I realize color to my eye may not be best for corals... this is why I need some guidance.

Reading threads I got the impression that everything on all at once was not great, but maybe I am mistaken. I do like a sunset. Maybe #6 on list. Not major factor though.

I also like moonlight to keep future fish from jumping. I do plan on having screen top so maybe this is a non-issue.
