Had my nano tank full on the side of the house. Went out to clean it and found this nice crack right up the side. It was a used tank but the crack wasn’t there before. I inspected it very well before purchasing it.
It was pretty hot today, could the heat of the sun have done this ??? Or could there have been a very small crack near the bottom and the water pressure made it spread?

Oh well, this is why I always test a used tank before putting it in the house.

Yes heat can do that. In particular if it is a hot day and you add cold water.

Someone told me the tanks with bent corner glass usually cracks right along that line .

Coralife has excellent customer service. You could always send them an email...I assume that's a Biocube? They have replaced things before that were broken in a move. Ya never know!
