Well, with the addition of nems, my 65 fowlr is, I guess, a reef...wondering if ANY corals would be safe with a lattice butterflyfish and Singapore angel?...aside from a peck here and there, the bf has left the nems alone...I have condies and bt's...just changed water...when it clears, I can send a pic...thanks...;Pompus

It depends on the individual fish, not just species. Some singapore angels will be perfect angels, others will eat polyps, others will eat any coral. Just try with something easy and hardy. You could try with some zoas, leathers, and photosynthetic gorgonians to start.

actually...the Singapore is not my major concern...is there any coral that my bf will not eat...just want to color-up the place...

I was just using the angel as an example because they commonly nip on corals. There is NO coral that is a 100% guarantee. If you're that concerned about the butterfly your best bet is to get rid of him. I stick with my suggestions from before as far as corals go. They are very hardy and will come back from some light nipping no problem. You can also get GSP or xenia but eventually they will take over the entire tank.

Here's a couple of views...love the bf more than anything...do have xenia in my 10, also nephthia, etc..may just frag and try...sorry for the reflection...impossible to lose it in daylight...

Wow I love the trigger! Definitely keep the butterfly if he is your favorite. I would suggest you put in some cheap corals first to see how he behaves around it. Most people and even some LFS often will give you some boring zoas or anything else that they have extras of. The other day my LFS gave me some people eater palys for free that were growing on the bottom of the frag tank.

Have some zoas, mushrooms and xenia...better stuff too...but I'll frag these and try them...I like your idea...
