Welcome! Too funny, in the first pic I was at first trying to figure out why you have a door handle on the tank cabinet. Optical illusion!

Anyway, I have never used that for rocks, so no experience. If you want to put rocks together I have used E Marco 400 that works like cement and is easy.

The rock work looks good for fish caves and such. What animals do you hope to have?

Thanks Denise, ya no door handles in it

Will be a mixed reef, just a few fish mostly zoas. I have not don’t a lot of spa and I’d like to. Ordered to AI Hydra but may add a third.

I’ll let it cycle the next month and give updates as it comes along.

On the JB water weld I think it was my fault. I didn’t apply enough for the three rock base and it buckeled. The rock on the left has a decent overhang and the piece is totally solid.

Welcome! Too funny...

So today’s reading
Ammonia 0-.25
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0-5 but closer to 0
Overnight the algae that was forming seems to have receded.

I’ve been adding 1ppm ammonia a day

Gonna post my question in a new thread

Having this sit in front of me each day is awesome, being sick at home and insufferably wanting to do more is not healthy though.

Update, the live rock I brought over from my other tank really added a lot. Color, some flat worms, so I’m getting a six lines wrasse or if someone has a recommendation as a good pest control fish, and a ton of pods; they’re all over the glass, rock, everywhere!!!

Update
Added a few pieces and I am working on the 65 gallon fuge setup in the garage. It has about 200 lbs on live rock in it, need to get the light setup and cut the piping through for the inlet/return to the sump.
