65 Gallon Lighting Help

I have the FluvalSmart 3.0 and a, disappointed. Every mushroom, Kenya tree, etc has died but all my fish have been great. It’s been months since the ick outbreak.

I want to get the tank looking full and colorful with mushrooms, beginner corals, polyps etc. I just had my water tested at LFS to verify my testing is correct. My parameters are all within the range they should be,

Please any suggestions on lights from Amazon budget of about $400.

Rimmed, rimless and do/can you hang lights?

Which parameters did they check for ? , what test kits did they use ?, have your parameters been stable ? Given that the water quality is in check as far as lighting t5 units are great for mushrooms.

All fall within budget.
Search for actual user experience..

Blink and there is something new from China.. Like these. Use 2 at least.

Bigger Nicrew and pushes to your budget limits with 2.
"They" don't recommended for less than 24" wide but it is probably doable @18". It is just an extra puck l to right.

If you want to hang lights 2 of these but I consider them "disposable" lights and they are FAR from "300w". More like 60
Watts each. 2 for $200.
You need to watch out for this type of Chinese trickery.

Power Consumption: 65W±5%

And how you intend to run them..
Any light you pick if you shut off half of it's output you have thrown away 1/2 of it's power.

They use reflectors instead of lenses giving them a advantage in room light spill and glare. Only real reason to mention them
Oh and no fans.

That’s the size yes and it has a rim. I prefer not to hang light if at all possible.

Not on Amazon though? I have credit with them, I just can’t make a decision lol. I do not want to have to upgrade in a year if I expand corals. Thoughts on keeping my Fluval 3.0 and adding something else to it?

It will be more expensive on Amazon.Because Amazon charges a high commission
