Hey all!
So I have had my 65 up and running for about 2 months now, currently have a CUC (about 10 assorted hermits, 30 mixed snails and a bunch of dwarf ceriths, one conch, one peppermint shrimp), Lighting Maroone Clown Pair, FireFish and a Male Splendid Fairy Wrasse. Recently, last 5-6 days, I am dealing with a Cyanobacteria outbreak, at least it appears, photos attached. Could it be Dino's? I have been keeping the white off for a few days, the conch has started to mow through some. Can anyone verify? I am heading out of town Friday through Monday so a bit nervous. The lights, should I keep them turned down over the weekend away without being able to monitor it?
Also, I installed the 5" BRS Reactor yesterday with both GFO and Carbon, I followed their instructions and was just curious, how long should I wait to take out the media bags? I currently have 1 ChemiPure Blue bag and a bag of carbon. I do not want to shock the system with nutrient levels. I did a 15 gallon water change this AM as well.
