Sorry about the lateness it is a toss up on drill or not to drill. If u planning on going to sell it or not. Some do want a reef ready and some to not, HOB overflow may clog cause a slight chance of a wet floor and the same with drilled. It is your choice.Taggin along. I bought a standard 65g but I have not started the transfer from the 29g. Could not decide if I drill or just HOB overflow.
What type of hob overflow do u have on the 65 and what type of return pump? Looking good and keep us updated.Same as me. I had a 29 with hob. And just transfered the 29 to this 65 standard tank. I literally just finished it. That's why it's cloudy. Lol. I went with hob.

Thanks for your feedback. I thought there are more chances of accident flood if I go HOB overflow.Sorry about the lateness it is a toss up on drill or not to drill. I see. My 29g is also running HOB filter and no skimmer. And for this 65g that I am planning to build, I would like to add a Sump.No you missed understood. I'm sorry. I'm only using hob power filter. Had one on my 20 long reef and that that is doing great. Sorry
