I'm planning out the stocking list for my 65g -- 48" x 18" x 18".

Thoughts and insights would be appreciated

First three I plan to add are:
- tangaroan goby (with randalli pistol shrimp)
- striped fang blenny (m. grammistes)
- adorned wrasse (h. cosmetus)

Second batch a few weeks later will be:
- lubbocks fairy
- cresent tail fairy (cirrhilabrus cf lunatus)
- leopard (m. meleagris)

I plan on adding all 3 of these at once. My questions regarding these three are:
Would it be better to have a 3rd fairy instead, or in addition to the leopard?
Or will the 48" run provide enough space for the two fairies to not be overly aggressive to each other while still being just 'huffy' enough to maintain their colors?

Third batch of fish a few months after the wrasses (this batch is a maybe, not a definite):
- trio of dispar anthia, OR
- a lone sapphire damsel

Doesn't really matter; your choice.

The two you've picked will be fine in a 4' tank.

Those should work well together although not sure if the the Lubbock's and Crescent tail might have issues together given they are both fairy wrasses. I would add them together. FYI, not sure what your experience is with Leopard Wrasses but they can be very delicate shippers and it's best to observe them for a week or two before you buy them to ensure you get a hardy specimen.
