Just got my system last week and have been working in it all weekend. Just need to finish the hard plumbing and add water, sand, and rock!

Thanks for everyone's help and assistance so far!

Off the truck and passed inspection.

Got the plumbing finished. Just need to install a ventilation fan (en route) and get some filter socks. I'll be getting rock, sand and water this weekend.

Thanks! Don't know how I posted to AIO section but can't figure out how to change that. Oh well.

Great minds think alike! You got any photos of your set up?

I have a question about the quality of craftsmanship, how do you feel about it? Should i upgrade the stand? Looking to get either the 50 or 66 gallong one.

I really like the stand it’s not mdf it’s hard wood

If I could I’d go back and just put some water resistant paint or coating down and call it a day

So you upgraded from the included one? And yeah i was thinking about spraying some water resistant coating on the inside

No I didn’t upgrade it hmm I guess it is mdf but it’s super thick and was pretty tuff to drill thru

if you dont mind me asking, what lights are you using? im thinking bout getting one hydra 26 hd but idk if its enough for the 50 G

I upgraded to plywood stand. Much better quality and also is a bit taller than mdf version. Worth the additional cost IMO. I coated inside with several coats of Kilz primer

I'm using 165 watt Chinese black box LEDs...
